Summary of changes in the luca terms of use for operators

The terms of use of culture4life GmbH change and replace the existing terms of use with the new functions, but no later than 16.03.2024. The new terms of use are as follows link retrievable.

We've made the following changes:

Addition: Section 5 — our new cash-out feature

We are adding a cash-out function to Luca Pay, which allows operators — if agreed — to have sales paid out earlier if they wish. Outstanding transactions serve as base/security; use may be subject to additional charges in accordance with the schedule of charges. In addition, framework conditions for billing/settlement and risk-related restrictions on the function are regulated.

supplementation: Section 6 — luca terminals and luca link devices and other hardware
We clarify the rules for hardware (rent/purchase) and make it clear that other hardware components (e.g. for hotel functions) can also be provided.

Neu: Section 9 — Hotel Features
We are expanding the previous hotel check-in and check-out regulations to include comprehensive hotel functions. These include in particular digital check-in and check-out functions, digital concierge, room bookings (room charge), guest communication and other hotel-specific functions. Operators' responsibilities for content, guest data, AI-based answers and the integration of third-party providers are also regulated. In addition, framework conditions are defined for the use of hotel hardware (e.g. digital room keys, check-in kiosks) and for automated guest communication on behalf of operators.
